Privacy & text message policy.

This covers FoodzByKinG (Chef Michael King) and this website. Plain version: we collect what you type into the booking form, we use it to plan your event, and we don’t sell it to anybody.
What we collect
Only what you give us on the booking form:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your event details — date, guest count, location, occasion
- Dietary needs and anything you write in the message box
We don’t ask for payment card numbers on this site. If a retainer is due, Chef King sends it separately.
How we use it
- To call, text, or email you back about your event
- To build your menu and quote
- To confirm your date and coordinate the day
That’s it. We don’t sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.
Text messages (SMS)
When you submit the booking form, you agree that FoodzByKinG may text you about your event — scheduling, menu questions, quotes, and confirmations.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
What to expect
- Message frequency varies — it depends on your event and how much back-and-forth planning takes.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who we share it with
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. The only companies that touch your information are the service providers that run our website, booking system, and messaging — and they may only use it to provide those services to us.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we’ll stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or reach us at the number below. Opting out of texts doesn’t cancel your booking — we’ll just reach you by phone or email instead.
Who else sees it
We use service providers to actually run the website, the booking system, and our email and text messaging. They only handle your information to provide those services to us, and they aren’t allowed to use it for anything else.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information to anybody.
We’ll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we’re working with you and afterward for our business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection and your booking details are transmitted securely to our booking system. No system is perfectly secure, but we don’t collect more than we need, which is the best protection there is.
Your choices
- Ask what we have on file
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Reply STOP to end texts, or unsubscribe from any email
Just contact us — we’ll take care of it.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy we’ll change the effective date at the top.
